2001: Osama Bin Laden, known CIA operative, attacks america. The attack is compared with pearl harbor. Counter attack is initially planned for Iraq, but Colon Bowel concludes that "public opinion has to be prepared before a move against Iraq is possible" so Afghanistan is attacked instead.

2002: Trans-Afghanistan oil pipeline project approved. Piping crude oil to the west from the caspian sea oil fields.

2003: America invade Iraq despite the fact that the attempts to persuade the population have failed.
