Erk, geek-ware will be down for a couple of days whilst there is a network overhaul at the isp. I should get it back up and running by Monday lunch time at the latest, but there is an outside chance it may be as long as a week if I need to find new hosting, apologies in advance.

I beleive I am close to better now, back at work, a bit tired still, and still trying to shake the remnants of a tv addiction. I watched more TV last weekend whilst ill than in the last 6 months in total I think.

I did rekindle my love of comics tho, I dug out my stack of old Spiderman, Quaser and Fantastic Fours comics and read them all too. Very groovy. I enjoyed them so much so I went out today to town on a mission to find a comic shop. I did just that and bought a few selections, just to sample different styles. I fricken love the Batman series now, of which I plan to buy many more.

My girlfriends not called me in almost a week :( got the odd sms msg but they are pretty lame, I need *voice*! Maybe she'll call tonight and make me happy :) (happier)

Oh dear. I am quite very ill. Off work layed in bed bored as hell, altho haven't had too much time to be bored, as I've been quite busy dangerously raising my body temperature, and having trouble swallowing.

I just remember that JudgeRuffNeck once represented the Monster Raving Looney party in our school elections many moons ago, and made a mockery of the whole thing by winning. I think they covered it up tho. Nice one. He got a new modem the other day so I guess he should be writing diary entries if he has any time.

I cleaned my mug with flash to get all the horrid tea stains off it, now my coffee takes of flash. I actually feel quite sick because of it. I think I'm gonna hurl.

beefcake has been down for 4 days or so, I believe some bright spark plugged something important into the wrong hole. The hole was probably quite important in itself but for very different reasons, none of which were involved in the decision to fill the hole with this particular piece of equipment. Something probably caught fire too. Maybe an NT server.

My mac got bigger. It also makes little Mac synth noises every few hours on its own accord. I beleive it is pining for attention. I try to wiggle the mouse once in a while to keep it happy but I think it needs somebody doing something creative on it. Maybe dragging some icons around or something.

My life long ambition to own a mac has finally been fullfilled. I can now die happy. (altho preferably not any sooner than planned). Its not quite *mine* as such, but I brought it back to life, and I feel it now owes me, and therefore should belong to me

Now then Now then. Jewelry Jewelry. Thurs a storm a brewin' Geek-ware servers are scheduled for a shakeup, probably moving ISPs, adding some new hardware and things. Some hosted sites may have to find new homes, gw will be down for a day or so, peoples email will be too. Don't worry too much, I'm not. Everything will be back to close to normal asap. (as soon as we figure out what is normal anyway).

I found out that the Sanrio corporation's cute puddy tat cartoon character Hello Kitty brings in over £750 million a year in revenues. These people sell pencil cases. I have only bought about 5 pencil cases in my entire life, none of which sported a ribbon-donned feline with no mouth. I get the impression there is a small number of people out there, with a *whole* lot of pencil cases. Probably more than there are pencils.

Yes I'm learning german too along with scara. Altho i've never done it before, so I'm learning from scratch.

I'm thinking Scaramanga has overlooked the fact that Monty Python comprised of guys who attended Oxford and Cambridge university.

The clocks just went forward and hour (whilst I was chatting to LydiaBushGrrl on the phone) so I feel tired now, goodnight.

My side of the story (tm)

How they managed to lock my keys inside my own car with the engine running totally eludes me. How they got inside still confuses me. How they then managed to leave my lights back on, which was the *original* reason they started playing with it in the first place, is just too ironic to even begin to contemplate.

also, I had a terrible brush with ikea, and a restraunt with a chef who went on the rampage with a deep fat frier. Today has not been a good day. The deep fried broccoli is making me very ill, I'm going home to bed. I'll write about Ikea later.

Just leeched some tunes from Gnapster, but some sick bastard renamed "Lady in Red" to look like Eric Clapton covered it, so I ended up with an earful of Chris De Hurl.

Who the fuck played drums on "A little help from my friends" sung by Ringo Starr? Was it Paul McCartney? (or maybe it was John Lennon, who can tell, muaha). Bloody Beatles and their conspiracies.
