I've found Scaramanga a perfect picture... funny, it contains Hari-bloody-bo! Anyway, it can be found here if you want a giggle.

On a lighter (?) note, I hate rain. Not so much as an abstract concept, but definitely as something to endure. I think whoever invented rain and made people walk through it should be asked to perform Spork's latest experiment.

Slightly over a month... I'm writing now because I have something to share! You may remember that back in January, I mentioned somebody who I was altogether WAAY too enthusiastic about. Well, perhaps that's a good thing, since I was talking to her just now, and she's come out... as a fan of BDSM!

Now, I'm at least as open-minded as the next person, probably more so, but I'd just like to go on record as saying that I'm glad it wasn't me she discovered that with! Imagine, somebody's just learning about tying people up... and throttles you. Irritating, I'm sure you'll agree.

Better yet (from Scaramanga's point of view, at least) she's officially "open minded", which translates to "not quite officially bi, but certainly happy to play with anybody". Bizarre.

Now I suppose all she needs is a Haribo fetish, and sufficient boobage to be worthy of open-air-ness, and she can replace us all. Oh, and she's got to be a Brownie. And American. Perhaps not then. Specially since she's a Goth.

Anyway, enough deranged talking-type-wireless. I'm doing my CCNA exam tomorrow, so I'll get some sleep.

Edit: Nearly forgot... if you want a giggle, her website's not too bad (and not "adult" either, for those of you at work) - visit it at http://www.angelfire.com/goth/bleedingwithme/.

Wow, two entries in as many days! This is turning into a geek diary... um, wait a minute, isn't it meant to be? :)

The project I mentioned yesterday is doing quite well, I've had 70+ downloads since Thursday night, there's one person co-developing it and another doing little bugfixes. I love the Internet :)

Ah well, party tonight, so I'd better get ready. Toodle-pip, chaps!

Arse. No entries in four months (and one day!). Never mind, I'm sure bAckline will decide to forgive me. If I let him nerf me.

On a lighter note, less than a day after I released an Open Source project to the world (which doesn't work :( ) some geezer's volunteered to help me with it. Woot.

On a darker note, I'm considering taking a vow of celibacy. After all, it's not like it'll stop me doing anything I do. *deranged mutterings about women*

Till next time...

A month to the day. Woot. I ought to write a diary entry more often. After all, I have so much to talk about ;)

Hm. Seems no news site wants to discuss Lord Hamilton's audience with the Queen on Saturday. Funny really, since it offers to make most of the laws since 1950 illegal. Twelve days till the people may rise against the monarchy, pillaging and making war upon the person of the sovereign until our grievances are redressed.

The last time this fun happened was in 1688, when James was overthrown on the grounds of being Catholic, and William of Orange got the job. Who'd we pick now, tho?

Bah, humbug. Wanted to buy a Leatherman from my local supplier, but not at £89.95! So off I toddle to ThinkGeek to see how much they are there. True to form (they're good chaps) it's nice and cheap, £44.73 when I convert it. "Well," I think, "while I'm here..."

When I finally pass them my CC details, I've bought the Leatherman, eight tins of caffeine mints, and a Geek T-shirt :) Damn impulse shopping.

Whoopi-diddly-doo, I'm bored again. Hey, not bad, only 3 weeks between entries :) I really have got to write more often.

For anyone who cares, the 'fragile piece of womanhood' from two entries ago is standing on her own two feet at the moment, since I remind her far too much of @BOYFRIEND[$CURRENT-1]. Bollocks to it. Some random American grrl emailed me asking if I'll be her friend when she moves over here in April. Well, since I saw her pictures, and she's "looking for a f*ck buddy" I'm keeping tabs. Plus she's got her tongue pierced.

In other news, I'm looking frantically past next week. Since I ork in education, and we have the inspectors in next week, I'm gonna be stressed with a capital STRESSED :) Then there's a week when there's no-one around, and then I'll be on holiday a week. Sadly, the screaming kids come back after that. Dammit.

Oh buggrit, can't be bothered, I'm tired and got another half-hour to go.

Wow, only a week since the last entry. Still, it is my birthday, so I suppose I ought to show willing!

No further news of anything interesting, barring me nearly going postal yesterday (don't ask, it's painful) and having a big rant in the design stages.

With that, I'll close. I'd like to leave you with this thought:

Badger. Or raccoon. Whichever is more mentally disturbing.

Well, a month after the last entry, I'll write another one! Let's see, what's happened in the time...

OK, so there hasn't been a lot! Main event was last Saturday, when I was out on a blind double date (um, ok, so it was only my bit that was blind, since everyone knew someone in the group!).

Before I enthuse about the evening, I'd just like to point out that I would not normally go on a blind date. However, since the date in question was carefully selected by $BEST_FRIEND, whose judgement I trust, I didn't mind.

Eeh, Cthulhu be thanked. I spent ten minutes praising Eris silently, and the rest of the film smiling slightly at the bonuses Fate had brought me. Now then, must remember to be careful and not break this fragile piece of womanhood!

OK, I admit it. I'm a soft touch (ask anyone) and she's cute as all hell. Ergo, I'm happy.

PS: Are you happy now, Backline? I've written something for you!

Sad lamer on ICQ haiku:

My time is fleeting
Skies clear over far houses
Go and get knotted

Damn them all.
