I've worked out that if 1 minute of silence is needed for the 3000 who died on September 11th, then we'd need 11 hours of silence for the 2 million Vietnamese deaths from 1959 to 1975 (not to mention the 3 million injured).

*Note: 2 million into 3000 goes 666.6666r times; the conspiracy nuts will have a field day.
