I went to the IMAX cinema for the first time yesterday. Some observations:
- My, my, the screen is big. It reminded me of the time when we upgraded from a small portable tv in our living room to a 29incher. Except obviously on a slightly bigger scale.
- There is nothing less amusing than far-too-skinny computer generated women called something stupid like Fig, trying to be funny when actually they are making worse puns than me.
- There is nothing more weirdyazz than far-too-skinny computer generated women called something stupid like Fig, trying to be funny when actually they are making worse puns than me, while having pert little boobies but NO NIPPLES.
- Wearing polarised 3d-makin' glasses makes everyone look just plain stupid.
- especially if they are worn over normal glasses. I'm so glad there wasn't a mirror in the cinema (because there obviously so often is...)
- 3d doings make my eyes go funny like VR does, probably for the same reason. Someone care to explain why...?
- Being a student for one night a week pays off - yay! student entry prices! I saved £1.80, you suckers!
- The Pet Shop Boys suck ass.
- Why, when they have the choice of every 3d object in the world, does everyone just make tons and tons of cones?
- If I had just taken a large quantity of drugs (rather than chocolate fudge cake, served by lip-pierced Love Apple gal) that would have been either the best ("woooooh, look dude, that's like totally a penguin's ass") or worst ("fuck me! it's coming right at us!" *attempts to hide behind on head*) experience of my life.
