Slow day in Spork-ville too. Up until about 3 o clock, it was building up to this meeting thing I had organised. The guy chairing the meeting, one of the liked colleagues, had asked me to play an active part in the meeting itself but after I set everything up, I felt that I would be Judy to his Richard on "This Meeting" and I don't fancy getting my boobs out at a national awards ceremony just yet (apologies for non-Brits for this reference). Feel bizarrely deflated (emotionally not boob wise) as a result of my non-attendance at something I planned but I get that a lot working here. Everyone else, bar me and MLC are in a departmental meeting at the mo - a departmental meeting without two key members of the department - and they wonder why I feel excluded?
